Bébé Bamboo and Soy Baby Blankets
Bamboo production is a green process
without any effect on the environment. The bamboo fabric produced is light,
softer than cotton with a natural sheen that feels like silk or cashmere. Additionally
bamboo fiber is a biodegradable textile material, as a natural cellulose fiber,
it can be 100% biodegraded. The decomposition process will not produce any pollution
to the environment.

of Bamboo Fabrics
1. Anti-bacterial - Bamboo grows naturally
without using any pesticides. It is seldom eaten by pests or infected by diseases.
Why? Scientists found that bamboo owns a unique anti-bacteria and anti-stasis
bio-agent called “Bamboo Kun.” The Japan Textile Inspection Association
has validated that even after being washed fifty times the fabric still possesses
excellent anti-bacteria and anti-stasis functions.
2. Breathable - The cross section of the bamboo fiber is filled with various
micro-gaps and micro-holes, therefore allowing more ventilation than other fabrics.
3. Thermal regulating - Bamboo also has thermal regulating properties it will
keep you warmer in cooler temperatures and 1-2 degrees cooler in warmer temperatures.
4. Moisture wicking - Wicks moisture away from the skin and double the absorbency
of cotton
5. Absorbs UV Rays for safe protection against the sun.
6. Hypoallergenic - Bamboo has a smooth surface and no chemical additives, so
it will not irritate the skin.
Each blanket comes tied with a ribbon and a tag printed
on 100% recycled paper that GROWS! Plant it under a thin layer of soil and water

Petite
Blankie (15.5" X 15.5" inches) - Darling petite blankies
for your little one on the go. A smaller version of our blanket using the same
ulta soft bamboo and 100% silk brown chocolate edging. Available in:pink, blue,
green, and white, all with chocolate silk edging.
Soybean Fabric
Soybean fabric is a sustainable
fiber that is being touted as a less expensive and more environmentally friendly
alternative to cashmere. Soybean is sustainable because it uses what would have
been waste and turns it into something useful, namely soybean fabric. The production
of soybean protein fiber is harmless to the environment, as the accessory agents
used are not toxic, while the residue after the protein extracted can be recycled
and used for animals as feed.
* Antibacterial – Naturally bacteria resistant
elements are integrated in the fiber’s molecular structure, which makes
the fabric resistant to certain types of bacteria.
* Durable - Soybean protein fiber is more durable than that of wool, cotton
and silk and only lower than that of polyester fiber.
* Moisture wicking - Wicks moisture away from the skin.
* Absorbs UV Rays for safe protection against the sun.
Soybean fabric is ultra soft, smooth and
light with a silky sheen. Caring for soybean fabric is easy, machine wash in
gentle cycle with a mild detergent and hang dried. Each
soybean blanket in the Lotus Bèbè range comes tied with a ribbon
and a tag printed on 100% recycled paper that GROWS! Plant it under a thin layer

Blanket (42" X 31" ) - It's not just for babies, perfect for using
as a throw or just for snuggling. Our plush and beautiful luxury blanket comes
in a natural gold color with a soy silk box pleated edge. Edging available in

About
Lotus Bèbè
Created in Southern California
in 2008 by Raulin Enterprises, Inc., out of a need for stylish baby accessories
that were also environmentally friendly, Lotus Bèbè discovered
the unique properties of bamboo and soybean fabrics and started looking for
items made with either. Our product line was launched with hip mommas and papas
in mind, who want to give their children something natural, eco-friendly but
at the same time luxurious.
Our products are manufactured in China by a “green”
facility that adheres to ISO9000 and ISO14000 standards. They have a closed
loop process of reusing the water that is needed in production of the bamboo.
The bamboo comes out free of chemical residue. The dyes used are Azo-free low
impact dyes and there is no use of formaldehyde. After the fabric is finished
it is sent to the seamstresses who sew our blankets. These seamstresses are
fairly treated important members of the facility. They are compensated fairly
and have safe working conditions. Our agent has the ability to visit the facility
at different times of the year to observe the process of production and ensure
these standards.
At Raulin Enterprises, Inc. our mission
is to be eco-conscious in our business practices. By recycling office paperwaste
and packaging supplies, distributing documents as much as possible via electronic
format, along with using energy efficient light bulbs, we are doing our part
to keep our planet green and save our valuable resources.
