Home With Future Schoolz

Here’s a fast-forward
glimpse of the starry brightness that awaits our children through new thought
educative practices in comfy, loving environments and the peaceful promise of
heart-centered community.
Stella Groove is having
the time of her life running her Inspired Parenting “Play dates with PurposeTM”
Play Groups. Four times a week, Stella has 10–12 moms and their little
ones join her enlightened play activities and soulful connection. Stella began
her IP play dates about six months ago. She had heard about them at church,
when she ran into her friend, Marcella.
“I’ve been great,
Stella!” Marcella responded excitedly to Stella’s query as to what
she had been doing the last few months. “I’ve been busy making money
and hosting play groups in my basement.”
Stella’s interest
had been piqued, “You’re always doing such cool stuff, Marcella.
You know, I’ve been looking for some way to support little Indigo’s
creative nature and make a some extra money at the same time. What you’re
doing sounds like the answer to my prayers. Do tell me more.”
“Oh, it’s so
much fun, Stella. I stay at home and make money, friends and play pals for Skye.
I call it my ‘new schoolz for the new kidz,’ Marcella joked. “I
also find out about the latest brain research and cutting edge emotional intelligence
curriculum.” She added a little more seriously. “I get new play
resources, fun activities, information and products every four weeks. And I’m
learning so much – including how to speak a different discipline language.
It’s more respectful and empowering. I’m having amazing results
with my little ones. Even my husband likes my new schoolz idea.”
That’s all Stella
had needed to hear. As soon as she got home, she had immediately called the
Inspired Parenting (310-459-8613) hotline number that Marcella had written down
for her.
That was a little over three
months ago. Today, Stella has already grown her play groups to four times a
week, leading two different sessions for two-year-olds on Tuesday and two separate
sessions for five-year-olds on Thursdays. So not only does Stella get to enjoy
enriching play periods for her baby, Skye, who’s just turned two; her
son River, who’s five, also benefits from her home-based pre-schoolz,
too.
Finally, there’s a
way to supplement my children’s traditional school experiences with something
more, something really nourishing for their sweet souls, that helps build their
confidence, emotional intelligence, and resourcefulness – qualities that
will last their entire lifetime! Stella thought to herself. What more could
a mother want?
Each two hour ‘play
date session’ begins with thirty minutes of Gathering and Settling-in
time, which provides plenty of opportunity for hellos and hugs with quiet music
playing in the background. It’s a chance for everyone to leave the rest
of the day behind and focus on Inspired Parenting. It’s also a great way
to connect and develop community with other like-minded moms in the neighborhood.
The children play and explore
on their own during the first 30 minutes, while the moms chat and get to know
one another. Prior to the start of the session, the room is tidied and spritzed
with an aromatherapy spray, specifically designed to calm and balance the energies.
Each Group Leader like Stella receives training and an in-depth Operations Manual
that contains everything they need to know to run successful Inspired Parenting
Play Date Groups. They also distribute the Inspired Parenting magazine and can
soft-sell hard to find, empowering award-winning products that are used in the
playgroups, and further supplement their earnings from the groups with the commission
they receive on product sales.
The IP magazine is truly
a publishing innovation in that it completely supports what conscious parents
are looking for – full of entertaining and informative articles based
on solid, cutting edge research about how kids learn, the importance of emotional

As the Play Date progresses,
circle time is followed by a range of fun age-appropriate activities and games,

A Re-gathering circle ends
the 2 hour segment of purposeful play with a gratitude ball toss. Each member
expresses what they’re grateful for as they toss the “trinket”
to another in the circle. After a look at the featured product display, parents
choosing to do so place their orders for their own copies of the wonderful array
of award-winning product, some of which were used during the play time.
Then, it’s goodbye
till next week.
