The days are rolling
by and we’re firing on all cylinders as we ready for the launch of our
premiere company-owned CosmiKids location in Tarzana, California. In just 67
days, we will unveil our pioneering programs within our extraordinary 4300 square
foot play ‘n stay venue-like-no-other to children of all ages and to the
families who love them.
Bi-coastal conference calls, globally-based franchise development sessions,
strategic planning conclaves, meditation circles, group intention-setting and
visualization exercises are all the activities du jour that we, as a new paradigm
company, are enjoying as we ready ourselves for this next exciting phase of
development.
There’s a lot to do, yet in comparison with other fast-food and service
franchises, it’s really quite easy. With an in-depth training program,
a comprehensive operations manual and on-going franchise support systems solidly
in place, anyone with a dream to own their own business, live in abundance and
do something positive in the world can now contact us directly about owning
their own CosmiKids - the very first lifestyle franchise for the modern community.
There are no major build-out or lease hold improvements to speak of. Once a
3,000 sq. ft. facility has been secured, all that’s done to the shell
is simply paint Pantone 298 flat finish blue clouds on a white wall, install
our natural rubber flooring and mount lighting tracks to showcase our designer
storefront branding screens and floor-to-ceiling window graphics.
Our internationally-known exhibit designer has created modular décor
and room accessories that are effortless to put-together and even simpler to
maintain. Even easier than IKEA! With eye-popping activity signs and hanging
stars, it’s a play space and learning lab all rolled into one, for the
whole family. There’s really something extraordinary happening for families
at Cosmikids!
In addition to our groundbreaking enrichment sessions and interactive Stations
of Discovery, we’re now offering pioneering programs that include:
• Acting Out –
Where tweens and teens can develop important life skills through starring
in their own movie.
• Angel Bear Yoga –
An interactive character-building program that incorporates yoga, nature and
creative imagery for children (3-11).
• Evolutionary Parenting
– Where new moms can gain expert guidance and professional support while
connecting with other new moms in a relaxed, friendly and empowering atmosphere.
Sure, we’ve got a little more on our plate corporately, with a book coming
out, TV development talk and movie premieres to attend. But, it’s all
in a days work when it involves an idea whose time has come. The most wonderful
aspect from all the media attention and visibility we’re receiving is
that it all serves to build our brand and heighten awareness to support our
youth and families in new, empowering and ever-evolving ways. It even attracts
seasoned, top-notch professionals to work with us and help guide our growth
and profitability.
Because CosmiKids and I were featured in Deepak Chopra’s latest movie
called The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success (available at amazon.com
and Blockbuster Video stores), we’ve been receiving daily calls and e-mails
from people across the globe who want to know more. They want to know if there’s
a CosmiKids location in their area, if they have what it takes to be one of
the first franchisees and if there are any career opportunities afoot. We say
“very soon, most probably and yes, yes, yes!” We’ve begun
scheduling twice monthly conference calls to field all of the franchise interest.
In fact, we’re reserving spots right now for our September 29th weekend
gala celebration for those potential franchisees who want to meet one-on-one
with highly skilled franchise specialists to map out the possibilities for owning
their own CosmiKids location. Saturday the 29th will be our VIP, celebrity festival,
featuring the Disney van with their celebrated “street team” playing
music and having fun, Hollywood stars, CosmiKids play sessions and free-give-aways.
The following Sunday will feature CosmiKids sessions and also be set aside for
business meetings and information receptions specifically held to support and
nurture our growing band of franchisees.
We’ve researched a list of right priced, near-by hotels in the neighborhood
for every out-of-town CosmiKids fan to make it a family affair and join our
opening festivities that are sure to be memorable and eye-opening. The children
will be enamored with the environment and activities and Mom and Dad can focus

It’s a very exciting time in our world for this type of child-oriented
organization to enjoy expansion and global acceptance. It’s also very
exciting to be aligning with like-minded others on a path of self-discovery
and evolutionary development as a species. Let’s be frank, it’s
exciting, period, to be alive and awake. I’m glad we’ve had this
time together.
