The Adult Indigo and Crystal Energy

Today's children are different from any other generation that the world has ever experienced. They have needs that our society does not appear to be able to serve and instead of accepting this, as previous generations have, they have become the 'squeaky wheel’ that insists upon change.
Do you feel like you just don’t fit into society, have trouble with following rules and regulations that others don’t appear to have a problem with or just can’t tolerate life in general? Do you feel like someone forgot to give you life’s rulebook and you are stumbling along, while others around you seem to get along just fine and know what to do? Is life just too much for you and you find that feel far more comfortable by yourself than being with others? And, are you very intuitive, able to see auras and even spirits, and have visions? No, you’re not weird or crazy, but you do carry Indigo and Crystal energy and that is why life seems so strange and often difficult and why you just can’t ‘fit in’ no matter how hard you try.
While the Indigo and Crystal children, those who carry the pure forms of this energy, are the newest generation of humanity, they were preceded by a generation, born in the 1950s and the 1960s, who embodied various degrees of this energy. Those who were the rebels of the late 60s and early 1970s, including the ‘flower children’ were the early Indigos. They were uncomfortable with the status quo and did what Indigos do, they rebelled. Listen to the music of that period, especially that which protests the Vietnam War and you can hear the rebellion, the call to arms, the appeal to wake up. Those who carried the Crystal energy were the early spiritual teachers, those who began writing and teaching on spiritual subjects long before it became mainstream. They created the spiritual movement that is increasingly popular today.
The most important role of the early Indigo and Crystal energy was to provide a foundation for the incoming generation, and to provide them with parents who would understand and support their energy. It is very important that Indigo and Crystal children have parents who are sympathetic to their needs, who can empathize with their difficulties, who are able to relate to their distaste for existing social paradigms and who can provide the spiritual foundation, especially with Crystal children, that they need. Crystal children will also need a new generation of educators who can support their need for a more rounded and less dogmatic educational system.
Many of today’s Indigo and Crystal children have parents who carry that energy and this is not an accident. If you are the parent of an Indigo or a Crystal child, or someone who works with this energy, you are well aware of its dynamics because you carry that energy yourself. So be aware that there is a reason for your inability to fit into society or how you feel out of place. This is what these children often feel. Use the knowledge that you have gained through your own experiences to make it easier for them understand themselves and to do the work that they came to do. Be loving and supportive and work with them to ease them through their transitions and help them to understand and develop their gifts and talents. Understanding why, as an adult Indigo or Crystal, you feel the way that you do will also help you to find your own place in society, to create that niche for yourself where you feel comfortable and can develop and use your own unique gifts to help these special energies to create the new social paradigms that they will work within.
