OUR MISSION
Children of the New Earth Online magazine is a brand new, one-of-a-kind, cutting-edge publication devoted exclusively to the evolving needs of today’s new generation of children.
Brought to you by the team responsible for the successful monthly online magazine at www.PlanetLightworker.com, Children of the New Earth Online was created to give inspiration, information and a voice to the growing international community of teachers, psychologists, doctors, healers, caregivers and conscious parents who foresee the necessity for a paradigm shift in the way we feed, nurture, educate and relate to our children.
Children of the New Earth opens the door between the fields of child-centered education, psychology, ecology, science, health nutrition and spirituality. Its raison d’etre is to provide a unified forum for the dissemination of information on all issues pertaining to the physical, emotional, mental and psychological development and well-being of all children.
Children of the New Earth magazine is an independent publication with no business, religious or institutional ties. Its staff, contributors, advisory panel and international team of contributing editors are drawn from wide and diverse paths of education, medicine, psychology, nutrition, healing, spirituality and the media.
While much of the contents of the Children of the New Earth Online are made freely available to all, access to the expanded monthly online edition of the CHILDREN OF THE NEW EARTH magazine is available by subscription only.
An Open Letter from the CNE Team
There is a revolution going on. As many conscious parents, teachers, psychologists and holistic practitioners are aware, today’s children are displaying marked differences to the generations that have preceded them.
If we had any doubts before we launched the original quarterly print edition of CHILDREN OF THE NEW EARTH magazine in April 2003, the reaction we have since received from around the world has confirmed this belief. From the US and Canada to Spain, Holland, Italy, Germany, and Great Britain, to Turkey, China, Australia, New Zealand, Israel and South Africa, letters have been pouring in to our offices welcoming the fact that, finally, someone is acknowledging that today’s children represent an evolution of the human species.
Without exception, the message we have been hearing for the past three years is one of overwhelming relief that at long last information about the extraordinary changes that are now becoming evident in our children is finally being aired before the general public.
And not before time… For when one in less than 500 children is being diagnosed with autism or some form of autistic symptoms, and five or more percent of American children are receiving special education for learning disabilities, and two million children (yes, two million – and that’s just in the US alone!) are being forced to take the drug Ritalin for so-called behavioral-related problems, it is most certainly time for society to wake up and accept that something extraordinary is happening with our children.
On the one hand, as many caregivers are reporting, we’re seeing more and more evidence of children being born with what appear to be a highly developed range of extra-sensory perceptions and capabilities.
On the other hand, as many health and medical professionals will attest, we’re witnessing alarming increases in the incidences of certain physical ailments and disorders, such as celiac disease, asthma, autism, digestive problems, food intolerances and allergies.
Regardless of whether we view these changes as positive evidence of a quantum leap in the physical, mental and spiritual evolution of our species, or the negative consequences of society’s wanton pollution of our atmosphere, crops and other natural resources, the message is unequivocal…
It is time for science to investigate the changing consciousness of today’s children.
It is time for medicine to start looking at the physical, chemical and/or biological anomalies that are increasingly being reported.
And it is time that we, as parents, grandparents, caretakers and caregivers stop all unnecessary medication of children and start re-evaluating the way we nurture, nourish and educate them.
On our own, we may not feel we can do much to effect change. In reality, we all have a lot more power than we think we do.
There is a saying, if we want to see change, we must be change. In order to be true to our mission, and help facilitate change on a global scale, we decided to expand our contents and increase our frequency of publication by moving from a quarterly print publication, to a monthly online magazine in January 2005, so that we could better serve today’s children, wherever they may live, and provide more instant access of this information to a wider audience.
There is much that we, as individuals and as a collective, can do to effect change.
Every time we exercise our right to follow our inner guidance and say NO, whether it be to a practice, a drug, a system, a method, an authority, or an unnatural or unhealthy way of doing things that does not truly serve the best and highest interests of our children, we are taking a step toward creating change.
There is a revolution going on. It is being led by our children. You know it. We know it. Many healers, therapists, psychologists, physicians and teachers are now recognizing it.
For the sake of our children, and the future of humanity, it is time we started opening our eyes and truly looking, listening and heeding what our children are showing us.
Instead of drugging our kids out of their creativity and into conformity, it is time we started paying attention to the lessons they have to teach us.
Children of the New Earth magazine is dedicated to honoring children, everywhere; to providing them with a voice; to fighting for their rights; to protecting them from unscrupulous and ultimately harmful practices; to learning the lessons they can teach us; to celebrating their differences; and to challenging society’s blinkered and outmoded way of doing things in order to better serve their needs.
For nothing is more important than our children, who are our future.
