Are you or your child at risk of diabetes,
obesity, and other unhealthy issues that comes from eating too much of sugars,
fats, sodium, and calories? Tons of people are addicted to the delicious fast
foods from places like McDonald’s, Burger King, Jack in the Box, and others.
They enjoy these deadly foods because of the large amounts of unhealthy ingredients
they contain which make them extra crispy, extra sweet and just simply taste
good. Unfortunately, most kids and parents don’t realize the dangers that
occur from eating these tasty foods on a regular basis. Luckily the book, “Three
Grin Salad” by 11 year-old Aja King, teaches kids about living life full
of happiness and healthiness and making better food choices. Aja talks about
her experiences finding ways to stay healthy and happy like getting a good night’s
sleep, eating the right foods, and exercising. She also includes different recipes
for love, happiness, joy, peace, and other positive emotions.
Three Grin Salad is light, fun and easy
to read. It will help kids understand how foods can effect their energy, how
it can help them stay joyful and positive, and show parents how to be aware
and improve their child’s health by changing paying attention to their
eating habits. In the back of her book, there’s a quiz to see how well
you take care of your health and at the end of the quiz, you the reader gets
to decide whether or not you think you are healthy.
