An Energetic Perspective of Autism

What do children diagnosed with Autism look like from an energetic perspective? How does that energy translate into behavioral characteristics, what are some of the gifts they bring and how can we begin to bridge the gap between our worlds and theirs?

As a brief history, information obtained through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) stated that for every two children registered as Autistic in 1992-1993, there where almost eleven by 1999-2000. Why the influx?

From an energetic perspective, the story begins in 1995. One of my young clients informed me that in 1995 a call went out to the beings that would come to Earth as Autistic. This was not the first time that they had been called to Earth, but it was the first time that this energetic wave could enter en masse. Prior to that time in history, the Earth’s vibration was simply not open enough to receive these beings, nor was it high enough in consciousness to support them. Before 1993, the primary diagnosis within special education was ADD/ADHD. These children set the vibrational stage for autism. They paved the path within our social, medical and educational systems.

Energetically, our new Autistic children appear to vibrate much closer to the speed of light. They are generally at least 6th dimensional beings. They also appear to be encased in a protective form that I have observed disintegrating as the vibration of the planet increases. The vibration of a child with moderate to high functioning Autism is commensurate with a much more advanced race, but because they are trying to hold that vibration here in human form, their behavior can appear “distorted” or “disordered”. If you were from a place beyond Earth’s dimensions, wouldn’t you find it difficult to function here? If the time- space reality of your true home was different than what you experienced on a daily basis in human form, wouldn’t you find it awkward to move throughout your day? The concept of time is one of the most difficult for these children to understand. They are perpetually connected to their vibrational reality, which functions outside of Earth’s time- space continuum. My young Autistic friend also told me that being Autistic meant being from two places at the same time. One, he said, was like make believe. In my naivety, I asked if his world was like make believe. He laughed and said, “No, Earth is make-believe.”

These children are used to functioning as part of a collective whole, with no separation. Therefore, they can find it frightening to feel the separateness of human form, especially as stimuli comes to them from a seemingly outside source. If this were your first time in human form would you find yourself disoriented, detached and/or hypersensitive to your new environment? Maybe in your attempt to acclimate to your new home, you would perform ritualistic behaviors to learn new tasks. Wouldn’t 3D perception seem odd and fascinating? What about gravity? It all could be a strange and interesting phenomenon to one who is not used to it. How would you communicate if you were used to being part of a collective whole? Would words be meaningful to you if you were used to sharing images energetically?

It is evident from an energetic perspective that these children are here to assist the planet in its evolution into higher consciousness, and to the awareness associated with that consciousness. Holding a high vibrational frequency in human form is an effective way to do this. However, historically, the highest vibrational beings among us have been labeled anything but Divine.

So what are some of the new levels of awareness that we gain from their presence?

First, they demonstrate how to be completely connected to one’s own awareness without being attached to the judgments of those around you. (No, not even one’s parents.)

Second, they demonstrate how the collective consciousness works. If you have observed a child labeled autistic for any length of time, you will see that they mirror the energy of a situation, environment or global occurrence. For example: in family units, the autistic child may act out the frustration, compassion and/or other emotions that are the collective of that family. Every single autistic child that I have worked with has demonstrated this. One child, who I will call Zak, once completely broke down during our session together. I asked him telepathically to show me what was wrong. He took me by the hand and led me to his mother who was on the opposite side of the house. She was on the phone crying. Once she was okay, he returned without issue to our work. Another child in a preschool started to throw things violently as she processed the growing frustration of an assistant in the classroom. Another child, who was verbal, continued to tell his teacher “It’s Okay, it’s okay,” as she was reading a story to the children. The story she was reading reminded her of her son whom she missed. She was not visibly demonstrating sadness and was not aware of what this child was tuning into until I asked her why the book made her sad.

On a more global level, after the resent tsunami, I noticed that the children were very quiet and more reserved for days afterwards. They also appeared energetically to be breaking out of that protective shell that I wrote about earlier. That outer coating seemed to be disintegrating and the brightest light was pouring forth from them. I attributed this to the vibrational increase that seemed to take place during that very powerful cleansing.

Thirdly, they demonstrate the use of non-verbal/ telepathic communication. It is always amazing to me to watch a new teacher with autistic children learn from her students as the school year progresses. Without saying a word, the students teach the teachers what their needs are, how they are feeling and what changes are needed in their environment. One teacher I worked with was consciously working on her telepathic skills. She called a particular child from within and the child came to hug her with a big smile on her face. This was a great confirmation for that teacher and for the child as well. They had communicated without a word. They had truly made contact.

Now we can begin to see how these amazing beings may be offering us a greater awareness of our selves and our environments through their high vibrational gifts. So how can we, as parents, relatives, educators and therapists, foster this awareness and fully receive the gifts they offer?

First, please take the time to increase your powers of observation. In some ways, this occurs naturally with this population, as we become super vigilant to the stressors that might set them off, but the observation I speak of is the quiet, unattached witnessing of subtle behaviors.

Second, be aware of your own feelings and attitudes. Come to them open-hearted, ready to learn and explore.

Third, throw away your ideas of what you think autism means so that you might delight in the gift of their high vibration.

Lastly, turn off the voice and listen with the heart. Quiet yourself so that you can hear the oneness.

A brilliant journey into the world of high vibration and heightened sensory awareness awaits all of us who have been blessed to have these children in our lives. This tangible vibrational quality within each of them is a gift to us as individuals and as humanity.
