An Energy Update

Back on November 11, 2006, I participated in a conference in London. Prior to
the presentation, that inner voice told me that I should not prepare and that
everything would be as it should. As I stood before the group, it was
obvious that the participants were going to be making a significant shift energetically.
As I began speaking, I noticed that the Energy of Child began to enter the room,
and continued to enter until they were the primary voice. One of my co presenters
said it looked as if there were faces of children everywhere, so much so that
I could no longer be seen. This was not the “typical” presentation
for me, but at one point my other co presenter wisely asked, “What do
the children want us to know?”
There were four or five things mentioned, but the one that stuck with me the most was, “Be Honest”. This collective energy asked that we be honest with ourselves and with the children that we communicate with. They went on to say that when you speak to a child, it is important that your energy and your words match. That means that we do not hide sadness or hurt, happiness or joy. All emotions are equal in the eyes of energy.
Our children, with their increased levels of sensitivity, are reading people and the environment continuously. The difference between a child that trusts their intuitive knowing and one who does not, is based on personal experience. If a child presents an awareness to an adult and the adult verifies that awareness by admitting the feeling or knows themselves enough to make an adjustment to that awareness, the child learns to trust that innate knowing. If the same child goes to an adult and offers awareness, only to have it met with denial, the child begins to question their ability to accurately perceive the situation. The simple act of being honest with self is one of the very acts that naturally foster your child’s gift of inner knowing.
The Energy of Child also asked the participants to dig deep and love all of the unloved aspects of self. It is hard to be truthful about feelings that have yet to be accepted and loved. It is hard to be in full integrity with our feelings if we fail to realize that awareness, acceptance and love are an on-going process. We never know it all; there is always room for greater awareness, acceptance and love. By first being honest to ourselves about this one principal, we will once again be in the place of being open to the awarenesses that are reflected back to us by our children. By being honest with ourselves, we will create sacred relationships with our children. By knowing ourselves well and responding accordingly, we teach them the value of inner wisdom. We will in turn teach them to be grateful for the mirrors that life presents and we will clearly see the gift of co-journeying with those that may know us best… the little ones.
I ask that the energy of that conference on 11/11 be open to you now.
I ask that you share an honest sacred relationship, first with self and then with those around you.
I ask that you become aware, accept and love all aspects of self through a gentle awakening.
I ask that your children’s sense of inner knowing remain strong and bright through your example or in spite of it.
